　静物的な絵が描きたいなと思い描いてみた薔薇の様な何か。「静物的な絵が描きたい」の段階なので実際物を観て描いたのではなく基本的には薔薇とかお花とか花瓶（？）にこう在ってほしいという願望、固定観念。
今後はもう少し現実と向き合ってちゃんと実物を観て描くかも知れないし、描かないかも知れない。なんというか現実を描きたいというよりは自分の中の個々の事物や事象の実態“それそのもの”みたいなものを描きたいと思っているｶﾓｼﾚﾅｲ。

青い花瓶（どういう物を花瓶というか詳しく知らない）はアフガニスタンにヘラートガラスみたいなイメージで描いたが、陶磁器かもしれない。

◉ About the Work

I painted this because I wanted to create a still life. It’s a rose-like something. At the stage of simply thinking “I want to paint a still life,” I didn’t work from direct observation of real objects. Instead, it’s based on my personal desires and fixed ideas about how roses, flowers, and a vase (?) should look.

In the future, I may try painting while facing reality more directly and observing actual objects — or I may not. Rather than wanting to depict reality itself, I think what I’m really drawn to is capturing the essence or “thing-in-itself” of individual objects and phenomena that exist inside me.

The blue vase (I’m not very familiar with what exactly qualifies as a “vase”) was painted with the image of Herat glass from Afghanistan in mind, though it could also be interpreted as ceramic.
